Germán and Sacri are a married couple in love with their region and have extensive experience in the world of confectionery and the raw materials that are grown there. Together they manage to create exceptional products in their workshop that reach gourmet shops all over Spain and different countries in the world such as Belgium, Lithuania and France.
The story begins in Montanejos and Valencia, three generations ago with "Dulces Germán". In 1985, Germán Torres Peñalvert, decided to make a dream come true, in the Alto Palancia, specifically in Altura, a few metres from the Cartuja de Val de Cristo, in a privileged enclave surrounded by the Calderona and Espadán mountain ranges, where he decided to grow quince, planting more than 900 trees. This is how the "La Cartuja de Val de Cristo" Sweets Factory came into being. In his love for the products of the land, his son, Germán Torres Bonet decided to promote them by making tomato and apricot jams.
Steeped in experience and full of curiosity, he began to innovate with the fruits of the region: figs, oranges, mandarins, pumpkins, etc?
All products from the region, province and community, natural with no additives, which are currently used to make more than 66 varieties of jams, with and without sugar, which together with the new line of organic jams, Gelée and candied fruit and the star product, Dulce de Membrillo, have made this company well known and highly valued by the sector and its consumers in Spain and abroad.
Maximum product quality and safety is ensured throughout all stages of production and product selection, from ingredients to preparation. We have various ISO quality certificates that guarantee the quality and safety of our products.
It is the promotion, improvement and redesign of our products, incorporation of new raw materials and other actors that enhance the creative capacity and contribute to development. Hence the 16 jams designed for pairing, one of which was awarded a GREAT TASTE star in August 2018 for the Orange Marmalade with cava.
